Dr. Gregory Simmons, who was briefly introduced in the last SIT blog post, has a broad background in the development of ecological and biologically based methods of pest control. Dr. Simmons is one of USDA’s SIT experts and has an impressive background.

Dr. Simmons holds a Ph.D. in entomology from the University of Arizona. He has a background in botany, ecology and evolutionary biology, with his undergraduate degree in botany from the University of Washington and his master’s degree in ecology and evolutionary biology.
